Cascade Corporation Acquires Majority Stake in CARGOMETER GmbH
Partnership strengthens global leadership in dynamic freight measurement

PORTLAND, Ore., USA – March 19, 2026 – Cascade Corporation, the global leader in the manufacturing of attachments, forks and related technologies for forklifts and AGVs as well as a leader in quality mast products, announced it has acquired a majority ownership stake in CARGOMETER GmbH. CARGOMETER is an Austria-based technology company specializing in dynamic 3D freight dimensioning as the core of their “In-Motion” freight measurement portfolio.

This investment strengthens Cascade’s position in advanced logistics and data‑driven material handling solutions by combining Cascade’s global reach and mobile weighing expertise with CARGOMETER’s patented Dimension‑in‑Motion technology, Weigh‑in‑Motion and Scan‑in‑Motion systems. These systems capture the length, width, height, weight, and identity of goods directly during material handling operations on forklifts or AGVs, as well as in air cargo environments —without stopping or manual intervention. This helps customers determine the correct freight classes and improve accuracy, utilization, efficiency, and throughput.
